Our Commercial Training team delivers high-impact learning programmes directly with businesses, outside of apprenticeship-funded provision. This is a rare opportunity for someone who combines AI & Data expertise, skilled facilitation, and commercial instinct—and who finds that breadth energising rather than exhausting.
The opportunity:
This is a rare hybrid role: you bring technical credibility (enough to earn the confidence of a CDO or AI Lead), commercial acumen (enough to diagnose what an organisation needs and contribute meaningfully to sales conversations), and skilled facilitation (the kind that makes complex subjects land for any audience). You don’t need to be the finished article in all three on day one—but you should be strong in at least two and excited to grow the third, with the follow-through to make great delivery repeatable.
You’ll have genuine ownership, direct access to senior stakeholders, and the chance to shape what great looks like for AI & Data capability-building across a portfolio of ambitious clients.
In this role, you will
Client ownership & growth
Build trusted relationships across a portfolio of clients—running onboarding, delivery check-ins and renewals.
Stay close to client goals and stakeholders, and spot natural opportunities to extend impact.
Bring technical credibility into sales conversations—helping shape solutions that are ambitious, practical and value-led.
Turn your understanding of AI/data maturity into clear next steps for what we deliver—so clients feel momentum.
Programme delivery & facilitation
Facilitate AI & Data workshops and training (typically 25%+ of your time), making complex topics clear and engaging.
Run programmes end-to-end—planning, logistics, stakeholders and risks—so delivery feels seamless.
Keep our AI & Data content sharp, current and grounded in real business application.
Support associate facilitators with clear expectations and light-touch QA, protecting a consistently great learner experience.
About You
You enjoy variety and take pride in high standards—building trusted client relationships, making technical topics practical, and ensuring programmes run brilliantly end-to-end.
Client-focused and commercially curious — you ask great questions, diagnose what’s needed, and help shape the right solution. You care about outcomes, and you’re comfortable contributing to growth conversations when it helps the client.
Confident facilitator — you can read a room, keep energy high, and make complex subjects land. You handle questions and curveballs calmly, without losing the thread.
Technically credible — you can hold your own with technical stakeholders and translate clearly for everyone else. You’re confident explaining trade-offs without getting lost in jargon.
Comfortable with senior clients — you build trust quickly and navigate stakeholders with confidence. You show up prepared, listen well, and make it easy to align on next steps.
Proactive problem-solver — you spot risks early, course-correct fast, and keep things moving. You manage multiple workstreams with attention to detail and strong follow-through.
Energised by variety — switching between delivery, client work and commercial conversations is a feature, not a bug. You can zoom in on detail when needed, then zoom out to keep priorities clear.
Collaborative — you take initiative while staying generous, practical and easy to work with. You bring others with you and leave things better than you found them.
