Job Description:
To support the Learner Events Team with the onboarding and delivery of learner events including launch events and workshops across the Corndel group and support the Operational team by providing floating support cover for learner programme delivery. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting the PDE community with learner event delivery across the entire Corndel group businesses with a focus on achieving the Corndel objectives of:
- Delighting our learners
- Delighting our clients
- Progressing our learners
- Being regulatory compliant
- Delivering a high quality, excellent learner experience
Key responsibilities:
Ownership of the delivery/planning of Corndel Apprenticeship Launches
- To support with the learner onboarding process once allocation of PDE(s) has been completed
- Creation of the event in event management platform (or scheduling tool if onsite)
- Launch invitations and registering learner/stakeholders to event
- Assignment of event facilitator(s)
- Event content creation, customisation and quality assurance
- Set up of MS Teams client channels or updating to existing channel
- Pre-launch planning call meetings and briefing emails
- Management of event/data in implementation system
- Launch attendance register sent to ECC
- Launch component created in Aptem
- Management of declined/nonregistered learners and registration to future revised launch dates
- Event feedback reports
- Event facilitation/delivery as required
Ownership of the delivery/planning of Corndel Apprenticeship Workshops (onsite and virtual)
- Creation of the event in scheduling system for onsite events
- Workshop invitations and registering learner/stakeholders to onsite event
- Event content customisation, quality assurance (virtual and onsite)
- Workshop attendance register (onsite only)
Floating support for learners programme delivery
- Floating cover for the completion of initial ILPs as required to support resource needs across programmes
- Floating support for learner work submission marking to support PDE holiday and sickness
- Floating support for Unit workshop facilitation or group sessions to support PDE holiday and sickness
Overall improvement of learner event delivery and impact
- Support PDE(s) identified by Delivery Directors who need help with workshop facilitation delivery
- Communicating with the PDE(s) and learners when required to ensure the workshop process is followed
- Train the trainer support, when required – supporting with building confidence
- Run regular training session for facilitators
- Updates to event content to enhance engagement in line with DOCs requirements

Knowledge and experience
- Experience of the Corndel onboarding process (ideally) including delivery of these events
- Experienced and engaging facilitator
- Demonstrable organisational skills and excellent communication skills
- Experience of working within a regulated environment.
- Systems focused and technically capable using online event systems such as zoom & MS Teams, Menti (essential)
- Demonstrable experience of teaching and developing others
- Understanding of the format of apprenticeship programmes and the Corndel delivery model
- Demonstrable experience working with active learners in a teaching or coaching setting
